Career

At the start of his career, Ago spent several years as a management consultant with Big-4 firms Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen. In 2002, he joined global financial services provider ING, where he held various executive positions in banking, insurance and wealth management, including Global Head of Marketing for the Private Banking division. He is an active member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and sits on the Advisory Board of AOM, a Geneva-based NGO associated with Grameen International.

Academic Background

Ago holds a Masters Degree in Marketing & Communications from the University of Brussels, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Lausanne-based Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He obtained additional degrees and certificates from various well-respected academic institutions, including Vlerick Management School, and is a former participant of the INSEAD International Marketing Programme.
